PROJECT: Pump Station 125 Force Main Rehabilitation and Replacement
LOCATION: Norfolk International Airport
DATE: OCTOBER 15, 2017
The Norfolk Airport Authority will receive sealed Bids for the above titled Project at the
Administration Office front desk, located at Norfolk International Airport, until 2:00 p.m. local time
on NOVEMBER 6, 2017, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any Bids
received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
The Work under this Project consists of approximately 2,775 linear feet of abandonment of existing
4” sewer force main, installation of 1,765 linear feet of 4” Fusible PVC Sewer Force Main, cleaning,
descaling, and TV Inspection of 1,160 linear feet of existing 4” sewer force main, installation of 170
linear feet of Ductile Iron Force Main via hanging on a bridge, 10 vertical feet of Manhole
Rehabilitation, 1 Asphalt Pavement Patch and 1 Concrete Pavement Patch as well as 25 linear feet of
Pavement Striping and 5 square feet of Pavement Markings; provision of all required security and
safety measures, including miscellaneous work, incidental and appurtenant work necessary to provide
project complete and ready for use with accomplishment during normal work hours as shown on Plans
and Specifications as prepared by Johnson, Mirmiran and Thompson, Inc., dated OCTOBER 13, 2017.

Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.
A non-mandatory PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on OCTOBER 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Local
Time at the Norfolk Airport Authority Human Resources Office Conference Room A.
